If selected, We will work collaboratively with the OB and EC teams to explore and implement the following initiatives for the benefit of the Tamil community:

Connect (5 Promises)

1. More volunteers. More ideas. More impact

Expand EC from 10 - 15 (~ 7 members to be elected and ~8 members to be appointed) OB from 5 to 7

2. Nominate Minimum two high‑performing

And interested EC member to the OB Position every year

3. Create active outreach platforms

Where every member can serve, learn, and lead with compassion

4. Promote CTTS’s services and community benefits

To unite more members and energize volunteer participation

5. Transparency First

Every update, every program, for every member.

Collaborate (6 Promises)

1. Inclusive Cultural Celebrations

Of all festivals together to strengthen community unity

2. Inclusive Access

Free Entry for Kids, Seniors, Parents (Member & Non Member), Expecting Mothers, New Life Term Member family (First event they attend)

3. Empower youth

By forming a strong student team & representation with direct association with CTTS Board (OB and EC)

4. Honor Tamil children’s excellence

in academics, research, and sports through CTTS recognition platforms

5. Powerful digital library

To unlock Tamil literature to every home

6. Financial assistance to support education

For children due to the loss of a parent.

Culminate (5 Promises)

1. Launch a One‑Stop Guidance Team

For health, immigration, emergency help, Financial Advice and community support across Connecticut

2. Use technology‑driven financial planning

To cut costs, improve efficiency, and deliver quicker results to members

3. Adopt a one‑year OB tenure

To enable rotation, growth, and mentor‑driven leadership development

4. Appoint a Cultural Secretary

To lead, enrich, and streamline CTTS cultural initiatives (Drama, Elocution, Essay writing etc) , games (Like Rangoli), Arts ( Silambam, Kalari, karala Kattai, Yoga, etc ) to promote our tradition across multiple locations in Connecticut

5. Empower students

by connecting them with professionals for mentoring, internships, and career development
